Parents supporting at home

There are many ways to help your child at home; the simplest of which is talking to them, discussing events with them and reading with them.

As much as possible, please listen to your child read daily.

Children have access to www.mymaths.co.uk which has many activities, practice questions, games and tutorials to show your child how to work something out. Homework can be set through mymaths.  Please contact the class teacher if you’re unsure of login details.

We have just started using Times Tables Rockstars https://ttrockstars.com/login – a brilliant resource for children to become fluent in their times tables (the sooner the better!!) Please contact the class teacher if you’re unsure of login details.

Your child may also have access to ‘Teach your monster to read’ and ‘Readtheory’ – again, please ask your class teacher for details.
